GERMAN SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE Germany's reply to the M1 is reported to be a 10-shot, rather heavy, gas-operated rifle, known as the Gewehr 41, using the regular 7.92-mm cartridge. It is hoped that further details will be shortly available.
